The Lowman Bone Clamp is used to grasp, mobilize, and rotate bones during a surgical procedure. The instrument assists during both significant and minor fracture procedures and is ideal for grasping bone fragments. It is ideal for simple holding, stabilizing, and even rotation of bone in a precise and stable manner.

The 1x1 jaw configuration features a single prong on each side of the clamp, providing a more focused, symmetric grip well suited for smaller or more delicate bones where minimal surface contact is needed. The 1x2 jaw version, by contrast, features serrated jaws specially designed to hold long bones, align fractured bones, and hold bone tissues and fragments without breaking them, offering a broader grip for larger bone structures.

The Lowman Bone Clamp 1x1 Jaws is available in three sizes: 5" with a maximum cap opening of 1", 7" with a maximum cap opening of 2", and 8½" with a maximum cap opening of 2½". These variations make the instrument well-suited for a wide range of medical approaches. The instrument is calibrated in inches to measure bone diameter, helping surgeons select the correct size for each patient's anatomy.

The Lowman Bone Clamp 1x1 Jaws features a premium-grade stainless finish and a rustproof body. It is crafted from German surgical stainless steel, making it durable, corrosion-resistant, and fully reusable after proper sterilization a key requirement for instruments used across multiple orthopedic procedures.

The clamp features blunt outer surfaces on the jaws to minimize tissue damage, along with a slender profile for clear visibility of the working area. Its ergonomic design ensures a non-slip grip, and its slender shafts allow it to reach deep surgical areas all helping to protect surrounding tissue while maintaining firm, precise control over bone fragments throughout the procedure.
