The Ikuta Bone Clamp Angled addresses a common surgical problem with a clean, clear design the jaws are cloven, with two prongs per cleft opposing identical mates on the opposite jaw, providing eight-point stabilization. Drills or K-wires may be driven between the prongs while the clamp remains in place.

Both versions share the same eight-point stabilization jaw design and ratchet lock mechanism. The straight version features straight jaws, while the angled version features angled jaws both are available in varying tine spacings (1.6mm, 5mm, 6.5mm, 7mm) and lengths (125mm and 160mm).

The angled Ikuta bone clamp is used to stabilize and grasp bone fragments during orthopedic surgical procedures where the handle needs to remain clear of the surgical field particularly in confined spaces like the wrist, hand, or ankle. The straight version is preferred for accessible bone surfaces where direct jaw-to-bone alignment is achievable without obstruction.

The stainless steel body is ergonomically designed to distribute weight evenly, reducing hand and forearm fatigue during prolonged procedures. The clamp can undergo autoclaving or other validated sterilization methods, and its reusable nature offers a cost-effective solution for medical facilities.

The bone clamps feature cloven jaws two prongs per cleft oppose identical mates on the opposite jaw to provide eight-point stabilization, and drills or K-wires may be driven between the prongs when the clamps are still in place.
